The SPEG Steering Group includes representatives from the multi-disciplinary team, patient representatives and the voluntary sector. It meets three times a year and is chaired by Professor Mark Strachan, Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes, NHS Lothian. The main objective for the group is to develop the strategic direction for the network.
